Going EA for full price after a huge delay is such a huge red flag you'd have to be a complete fool to see it any other way. EA games are now a crutch and the time to be suckered over it should be past. The terrible joke on you is that you are ignoring the issues. One more thing, I am pretty sure they were going to originally go with a $60 price tag on release, but since it is Early Access instead of just straight up starting at $60 it's starting at $50 and once EA is done it will go up to $60.Īnyways KSP 2 is far from ruined, you just need to wait Just cause it is missing features now doesn't mean it will forever, if the game isn't to your standards on release then just wait, act like the game never came out, cause to you it might as well have not. As for this ruining KSP 2, maybe for you, but for most people this is exciting news.Īlso you know that Early Access means exactly that right? You are gaining Early Access to a game that isn't fully completed, it doesn't mean this will be the final version of the game. Originally posted by Slayrix:You guys keep complaining that you don't want to, "be a free tester," if that really is the case then don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buy the game lmfao, simple as that. Multiplayer? Nope, not in the EA version. But its time to lose the idea of KSP2 becoming a proper product anytime soon. And I am sure a lot of you feel the same. Its a shame, cause KSP2 was the only game I looked forward to during the past half decade. There is no roadmap either for any features that should have been in the finished KSP2-game 2 years ago. Yet they decide to go this way and use you and your attachment to the franchise. Take-Two can provide enough funding to release a finished product. Stop defending these shady business practices. If you would sell empty promises, you cant or wont deliver, outside of the gaming industry, you'd be immediatly arrested for fraud even for trying. What really bugs me, is that so many people buy into it and actively get manipulated by this strategy so much, that they become free marketing tools for these abusive companies. Which to me is utterly disgusting and immoral - and very obviously driven by the publisher, not by the developers. Even if its manipulative, vial and abusive - it brings in more money, because they cash in on emotional attachment. ![]() (for reference: bobby kotick was filmed saying he wanted the players to have a miserable time, and eradicate fun in games, because then players spend more in the hope of the game becoming more fun when they throw more money at it) Same thing is happening to KSP2 in early access. ![]() The decision makers dont care how good the game is, they only want profits, no matter what needs to be done to generate them - and there lies the problem. I am not doubting the developers are trying to make the greatest possible game. ![]() They call it "inspiration" and "seeing what works with the community". Nothing wrong with early access when it helps small companies finish a game they could otherwise not afford to make.īut very wrong when done by a multi-billion-dollar company like Take Two who is known for their abusive and manipulative market strategy.Īlso very wrong that they want to obviously steal from modders. Where do you want the price to rise to from 50€? That is rediculous. ![]() Whats really confusing is this part: "after early access price will rise". (correction, 29.10.: science and career are not included in the 50€ early access version) Almost no features - or only those that are in ksp 1 anyway.
